English Premier League table 2022/23: Updated EPL standings and race for title, Champions League places, and relegation survival

Arsenal were guaranteed to be atop the Premier League for yet another week, but a slip against Southampton was a blow to their hopes of remaining there long-term, now sitting within reach of their closest pursuers Manchester City, who won their match against Brighton.
Tottenham had a chance to draw level with second-place Man City on points if they could handle business at home on Sunday, but instead it was a surging Newcastle who collected all three points to push into the Premier League's top four, ahead of Chelsea on goal differential. The big match of the weekend was Saturday's Big Six clash between Chelsea and Manchester United which finished 1-1 after a thrilling finish. Casemiro scored a stoppage-time equalizer after a late Jorginho penalty. There was no Cristiano Ronaldo drama this week after he was dropped by Man United following his refusal to enter the midweek victory over Spurs.
